Interview Preparation: Talk about an issue in your previous positions you weren’t able to resolve. Sample 2 – Mid Level
This has happened several times. Every 6 months I review the projects I am doing. I weed out the bad ones and focus our energy in the ones which are going well. Some times projects I close are dear to my heart but I take that decision because that isn’t working.
One such project was ultra landscape design for lead customers. We invested 6 months in this project. Even though project was technically developed. Rolling out and selling project with a good profit margin was something I couldn’t resolve. Market was not ready. So, I recommended to shelve this project. Instead, I asked team focus on another project which was selling ok ok. Today, we have added features on selling ok-ok project and we charge a premium for additional features. Within a span on one year, this project has become our best selling and most profitable project.
