Interview Preparation: When were you most satisfied in your job? Sample 2 – Mid Level
When I do something meaningful. For me meaningful means- helping someone, solving a problem, causing a movement towards success with a faster rate.
In my last project, I realised that releases are delayed and quality is going down even to our own standards. I spoke to quality engineer and got the data. After analysis of data and talking to few people in the team, I realised that team has become complacent. Some processes are being followed just sake of process and there is no output for them. I initiated review of output of various process. Went to some review myself and found that there were shortcomings. I gave actions to some people and they put everything back on track. I felt extremely satisfied when I looked at the results- a measurable improvement in quality.
