Interview Preparation: Tell me about your greatest failure?
The Interviewer:
He wants to elicit
1. He wants to know what did you learn from that failure.
2. Do you even remember any failure.
3. Did you encounter the similar failure again.
4. How do you deal with difficult situations.
The Applicant:
1. This is a trick question.
2. Saying you never failed won’t be good idea.
3. Key is - Accept, deal and learn.
4. Failures shall not reveal any fundamental problem in your traits.
5. You story shall tell that you take them in stride and learn from them.
6. Always have 3 actual instances of professional and personal failure ready in advance.
7. Use STAR.
