The Interviewer:
Interviewer wants to elicit
- Are you aware of handling pressure methodology.
- He wants not only methodology but also the real-life example.
- Do you panic and make others panic.
- What is your communication strategy in such situation.
The Applicant:
- You are prepared for pressure situation because you are aware of
o Constraints - cost, scope and time
o Risk management - identification; assessment; mitigation;
- You were under pressure because of variations of constraints. But you handled it effective because you already had a plan for it in your risk management.
- It is about keeping your calm, negotiate and communicate effectively, trigger risk mitigation.
- Prepare in advance in STAR format (situation, task, action, and result).
- Be ready for follow up questions.
